Adrian Cheok loves his work very much and attained great knowledge and skills, thus was appointed previously as a Professor of Pervasive Computing at City, University of London. He was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia, did his graduation from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) in 1992 and an Engineering PhD in 1998. His mother was born in Prespa, in the West Macedonia region of Northern Greece and his father was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He was a brilliant student already and attained all of his dreams by working hard and increased the knowledge and experience.

He generally worked in real-time systems, along with the soft computing, and embedded computing in Mitsubishi Electric Research Labs. He has spent years in working on research covering mixed reality and very interested in researching about human-computer interfaces, wearable computers and ubiquitous computing, fuzzy systems, embedded systems, power electronics and other digital areas. He has worked out in various research projects in the area of wearable computers and mixed reality from Nike, National Oilwell Varco, Defense Science Technology Agency, Ministry of Communications and Arts, and got various awards for his research and work.
